Worldwide Water Systems Inc.:
Non-Chemical Process and Wastewater Treatment Systems

Worldwide Water Systems, Inc. provides engineering studies, designs, and specifications for industrial or commercial clients.

These Wastewater Treatment Systems are designed specifically to meet client's requirements and can include unit operations for oil and grease removal, pH control, neutralization, heavy metals separation and recovery, organic digestion and absorption, and solids removal. Ion exchange, polymeric and polymeric absorbents systems with selective resin are available to achieve the parts per billion (PPB) levels of contaminants necessary to comply with new EPA regulations:

  1. Process Development
Worldwide Water Systems, Inc. starts the process development by first conducting a Phase I study whereby we identify all the processes, non-contact, and surface water streams. Sampling and monitoring are done to provide the analytical test data necessary to establish the level of contaminants and flow rates for the system design.

The analytical and physical test data is used to derive the chemical and mechanical parameters of the wastewater Treatment System. During the Phase I study a Process Flow Diagram is prepared to illustrate the process design required for the client to comply with EPA regulations.

  2. Pilot Testing
The wastewater Treatment System prepared during the Phase I study can be bench tested to verify the chemistry of the process and the physical removal of contaminants. In addition, key pieces of equipment are pilot tested to establish sizing, materials of construction, and performance criteria.

  3. Design and Engineering
During the Phase II study, detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams (P I D's) are prepared to establish equipment specifications, piping, wiring, instrumentation, and controls.

Worldwide Water Systems, Inc. will also provide a listing of equipment vendors, and construction companies that install Wastewater Treatment Systems.
