Cerlic Environmental
Cerlic Environmental develops, manufactures and markets specialty instruments for on-line measurement and monitoring of process parameters. The business areas that have benefited from the use of Cerlic meters are wastewater treatment plants and other process industries. Cerlic's line of instruments is characterised by a high degree of quality, functionality and user-friendliness.

All meters interconnect with a multipurpose control box which is designed with cutting edge digital technology and software.

Cerlic has developed the only total suspended solids meter that actually measures suspended solids. Based on the principle of light transmission, the total suspended solids meter measures near infrared light 5 times a second across a specific gap in the detector. The measurement is unaffected by the color of the liquid in the meter and is compensated for temperature and light source strength. The calibration frequency is very infrequent. The meter measures particles 0.88 micron and larger.

Three types of suspended solids meters are available.

  
1. ITX
Submersible Suspended Solids Sensor with built-in automatic flushing system. Optical transmitter using continuous on-line measuring of suspended solids from 100 to 20,000 ppm or mg/l. Output signal is held constant during flushing cycle. Wide 3/4” (20 mm) gap between lenses to alleviate solids plugging.


2. ITX-IL
In-line Suspended Solids Sensor. In-line optical transmitter using NIR (near-infrared) light for measurement of suspended solids in RAS, WAS, etc. 9/16" (15 mm) gap between lenses and built-in flushing nozzle to alleviate solids pluging. Supplied with 1 1/2” SS isolation valve. Designed for up to 90 psig applications.


3. CTX
True Suspended Solids Meter for FINAL EFFLUENT, REUSE WATER, CENTRATE, INFLUENT or other flow-through applications. Available with 1" or 2" NPT
connections, or CTX-LC for Low Suspended Solids. Sensor is zero and temperature calibrated at factory, so you only enter actual sample points from lab tests in the field. The CTX-LC measuring ranges from 0-10.0 ppm up to 1,000 ppm. Meter does not drift with time and is calibrated with lab TSS tests. Automatic bush cleaning system keeps the LC lenses clean.

 All Cerlic meters interface with the same BB2 Control Box that will support a combination of 2 different digital sensors. The plug & play capabilities ensures for easy installations. The unit is designed with cutting edge digital technology and software, making BB2 easily upgradeable. Generates two 4-20 mA isolated output signals and can be upgraded with protocol board to 4 digital output signals. Same control box for all X style sensors.
